Day 1
I started my Master Cleanse Diet today and I must say yuck yuck yuck and double yuck. The diet calls for a mixture of water, lemon juice, cayenne pepper, and grade b maple syrup.
First let me tell you there are many different variations out there and the diet is called by many names. The ingredients can get a little expensive but there are some pocket friendly options.
The diet has not been really proven to detox your body. In a healthy person that's what kidney, livers, and lungs are there for but it does clean out you system and help you lose weight.
First you start with water. Some recipes call for organic water whatever that may be. Across the board they all say don't use tap water. Filtered or bottled water is fine. Next is lemon juice. You can not use bottled lemon juice. Lemons are pretty cheap. I got three of them for $1 and I use about one lemon a day. The grade b maple syrup is about $20-$30. It's not really expensive because you won't even finish the bottle and if your not eating think of all the money you are saving on groceries. If that's still a little steep for you, you can use bootstrap molasses which is about $3 a bottle. You just can't use regular pancake syrup or maple syrup found in supermarkets. If you have to I would recommend real maple syrup and just make sure it is sugar free. Cayenne pepper is pretty cheap about $2-$3 per bottle. Some people use hot sauce which I don't recommend since it has a lot of vinegar in it but I haven't heard anything wrong with using it.
If you want to use my recipe here it goes:
8oz water
2 Tbl spoon lemon juice
2 Tbl spoon blackstrap molasses
1/10 tea spoon cayenne pepper
Mix the ingredients. The mixture will be dark murky brown to black and will not look at all appealing. I recommend chugging the drink fast and not sipping. I drink a bottle of water afterwards to get the icky taste out of my mouth.
The diet calls for about six of these mixtures a day. At night a tea laxative an every morning a tea spoon of sea salt in water every morning. I also take vitamins and supplements since I'm not taking in food.
Well so far so good. It's only day 1. I will post my daily weights and feelings so feel free to check in.
Thanks

Welcome!!!!!
This blog is to introduce me to the world and to give people who already know me (or think they know me) a closer look at who I really am. If you know me (or know of me) you've probably realized I tend to say the 1st thing that comes to my mind.
I plan to use this blog to bring some order to the randomness and chaos that is my thoughts.
Smile :)

Water Marbles
So I recently started doing water marbles and I must say I love it. I did my little sister's nails first. She picked amazing colors that I wasn't so sure of at first but the totally rocked.
For Briana's nails I used Piggy Polish Something Blue, Nicole by OPI The Right Thing, and China Glaze Shower Together. it kinda reminded me of a peacock.
I did a nail story on my nails last night. For me, a nail story is when you take the names of your polishes and make a sentence. I used all china glaze. My nail story was:
My SEXY SILHOUETTE dressed in DESIGNER SATIN caused a SPONTANEOUS TRAFFIC JAM on FIFTH AVENUE.
Any CG fan knows the words in all caps are the names of the polishes.
Anywho,
After all that hard work last night I took it all of to do a water marble. I used China Glaze's For Audrey and White in White, Nicole by OPI One Voice, and Color Club Floral Flirt.
With this water marble since it came out pretty pale I used the CG White on White as a base. After I did the water marble and painted by nails, I used a design brushed and painting dots and lines in contrasting colors on my nails. This design reminded me of cotton candy.
I'm interested in seeing your designs, watercolors, and nail stories. Let's inspire each other. Email me mrsyeah84@gmail.com

The NAIL in the coffin
I love love love NAILS. Ever since I was a little girl I could sit for hours and paint my nails and those around me. My drug store nail polish collection rivaled any salon's collection I ever saw.
This may sound totally naive of me but I had no idea there was a whole community of nail art designers out there. I decided to share a few of my designs and maybe host a few contests and giveways. Stay Tuned!!!

Ready for my close up
This may be the most self, most self centered, self absorbed post I've ever created, but I'm adorable so love it!! (jk)
I always felt as if my life should be a movie, a sitcom, or at least a reality show. My friends and family are all very colorful people who through humor and hi jinks show their love and appreciation for each other. I laugh everyday and it's beautiful. Sometimes I cry and that's pretty as well.
I want to share with you these moments. Blogging is not enough for me. My next move is video blogging or webisodes. I am creating my own reality show. Complete with clips, bloopers, and confessionals. I promise to make you laugh, cry, and love with me.
Further details to follow. Til next time.

When To Say When
I'll try almost anything once...some things maybe even twice. But when do you admit failure? When is the time to pull away? To say goodbye? Is trying good enough when you know you have tried your hardest? When should I say when?
I've struggled with this question most of my adult life. I can never have too much, don't know when to stop, or when my work is done. I push myself. I push my mind. I push my body. But most of all I push my spirit.
I push my spirit to the point where lines start to blend. I don't know what's good and what's bad. Too much of a good thing can be bad for you. And too much of a bad thing can be downright detrimental.
I push myself to the point of bending, but never breaking. It's ok to have a little flexibility in life, but know your limits. Set limits and goals. Know your limits and your goals. Be very aware of the gifts you have and your capabilities. Adjust your goals and limits to maximize your full potential.
Don't let your flag fly at half mast. Know when to say when.
I've bent too far and I'm nearing my breaking point.
When is now!!!
